i think it's worth noting this: you certainly are carrying on that
tradition - but from day one your frames were exponentially better
than those you used as role models. to that end, they really are not
as traditional as what they might "look like". your work,craftsmanship,
and enthusiasm for it all had no role model. to wit, your frames, then
and now, are cutting edge; no one"back then" could do this type of
work. the fact that you like pressed still lugs and older tubing is
simply a data point. what you do with it all is very much at the vanguard.
in that respect, i see your work as as modern as don's and sacha's
and dazza's, and curt's...
